GBF recently opened our retail store at 40 Elm Street. Initial hours have been shortened to allow additional time to clean and restock our facility. Currently, we are open Tuesday-Saturday 10-4:30pm. We will continue to provide updates as our hours increase; this will be very dependent on our volunteer base.

Receiving will begin to open and take donations at our 40 Elm Street Location on June 10, 2020 Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 12-4pm. We will continue to update any changes to our receiving hours in the future. Due to Covid-19, it is extremely important that all items being donated must be clean and in working order. All clothing is required to be cleaned, and in a clean bag, and or container. GBF team members have the right to refuse any items that do not meet this requirement.

During your shopping experience, please notice and follow the floor decals throughout our facility and check-out lanes. Their purpose is to make it easier for you to social distance from other shoppers. We are limiting the number of shoppers in the store at any given time. All shoppers will be required to wear a face mask, have their hands sanitized, and take a shopping cart before entering the building.

Our fitting rooms will remain closed to further protect your health and safety.

We have increased the frequency of cleaning commonly touched surfaces; this includes shopping carts and check-out areas. In addition, hand sanitizer wall units have been installed for your safety and convenience.

Our staff and volunteers will be wearing protective gear for their protection and yours.

If you are not feeling well we kindly ask that you remain home until you feel better.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support during this difficult time. We will continue to listen to local health and government officials as we continue to best serve you, while ensuring we do our part to limit the spread of Covid-19.

Safety is our first priority; serving our community members who need us most will remain our focus. However, without the help of volunteers during this transitional period, we won’t be able to deliver on our mission. Volunteering at GBF is a way to share your talents and contribute to your community. Anyone wishing to become a volunteer please contact us at 905 309 5664 ext. 33.
