Christmas Hamper Program 2020

This year's donation of gifts, food, gift cards etc. must be received by Wed. Dec 9th to be included in the Christmas Hamper Program as our hampers start going out on Sat. Dec 12th. Anything recieved after this date will be used for our food bank and birthday gifts into the new year. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Donation of Items for the Food Bank

We are currently in need of the following food items:

  • Hot and cold cereal
  • Children’s snacks (granola bars, cookies, fruit cups, crackers, pudding cups, apple sauce)
  • Canned meats
  • Canned fish
  • Canned stew/chil
  • Canned/packaged soups
  • Packaged pasta and rice (i.e. Sidekicks)
  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned fruit
  • Peanut butter 
  • Jam
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, salad dressing, cooking oil).
  • Coffee (instant or ground)
  • Tea
  • Fruit juice (large or tetra packs)
  • Boost
  • Toiletries/personal hygiene products (toilet paper, Kleenex, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene)
  • Cleaning products (laundry detergent, dish soap, plastic wrap, etc.)
  • Special dietary products (Boost for seniors, gluten free items, almond milk)
  • Baby needs (baby cereal, diapers: size 5 & 6, pull-ups, baby wipes, baby food)


We accept donations of items for resale in our store and monetary donations to support the GBF food bank and all of our programs. We also have GBF gift cards available for sale in our store.

Receiving Hours for Used Donations: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday:10am-4pm

Donations may be dropped off at the back doors during receiving hours ONLY.

We accept all clean, gently used items including:

  • Small appliances (in working order)
  • Large electrical appliances (in working order, excluding dishwashers)
