GBF Sparks a Family Tradition this Father’s Day
It is hard to come up with something new to do for Father’s Day every year. That’s why everyone used to give Dad a necktie. This year, why not make a tradition with your family that will stand the test of time?
Trying to find the perfect way to show your dad you care? Why not donate to the Grimsby Benevolent Fund Food Bank on his behalf. This is a great way to increase the supply of food and to help those in need. Food drives are also welcome throughout the year. Your efforts make an enormous difference in the amount and variety of foods we are able to distribute to feed our community.
Current items that are most needed at this time are: rice/pasta sidekicks, fruit juice, canned vegetables, canned fruit, granola bars, fruit cups, pudding cups, salmon, tuna, cold cereal, baking supplies, crackers, tea and coffee. In addition to food, the Food Bank also distributes personal care items. Please consider a donation of deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, toothbrushes, toilet paper, body wash and toothpaste.
Please visit us at 40 Elm Street, Grimsby during business hours for your donation drop off of products.
Please drop off donations at the Food Bank 40 Elm Street, Grimsby between our hours of operation Monday to Friday 10:00am — 4:30pm. On-Iine donations can be made by visiting www.gbfgrimsby.com. Your gift will help so many.
