Give hunger a voice

Grimsby Lincoln News

Mark your calendars for Hunger Awareness Week: May 5 to 9.

Together let’s continue to raise awareness of hunger and the work of the Grimsby Benevolent Fund in our community.

At the Grimsby Benevolent Fund we are continually touched by the support and kindness of people and partners in our community. And, more importantly, so are the many children, seniors and families that have been helped by this generosity.

There are families throughout our community who are struggling right now. Families who have never needed assistance before are depending on us for help. That’s why we are asking for your support today.

Currently the Food Bank is in need of the following non-perishable items: fruit juice, canned fruit, canned meat, canned stew, cold cereal, canned vegetables, tea, coffee, granola bars, rice mixes, hygiene products, and laundry soap. Please drop off donations at the food bank between our hours of operation, Monday to Friday 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Online donations can be made by visiting www.gbfgrimsby.com or by visiting us at 40 Elm St., Grimsby.

Your gift will help so many.

Together we can make sure families and individuals in our community are taken care of not only at this time but in the future.

Executive director, Grimsby Benevolent Fund
